President, The Registry Collection® program
Gordon S. Gurnik, RRP, is president of RCI and The Registry Collection program, and is responsible for all RCI operations.
Gurnik, a long-term veteran of RCI, joined the company in 1987, serving in various roles during his tenure including operations within the contact centers, RCI’s revenue management area, creating the company’s inventory valuation and exchange priority systems, club development and product development for RCI. Recently he led the exchange business through a process to significantly enhance the online exchange experience for RCI® subscribing members, making planning and booking a vacation simpler and more fun while adding many new benefits and capabilities for all RCI members.
Through the years, he has been instrumental in advancing the company’s products including the development of the RCI Points® program—the largest points-based exchange system—The Registry Collection program—the industry’s first and foremost luxury exchange product—and the enhancements to the RCI Weeks® program, which transformed the program by adding more transparency and flexibility than ever before. He has consulted on the development and implementation of most of the shared ownership clubs and has facilitated the majority of the brands launch into the timeshare sector.
Global Vice President, The Registry Collection programme
As Global Vice President, Gregg Anderson is the overall company lead and responsible executive for the brand. He provides strategic direction to a group of product managers in seven regional offices. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and is one of only a handful of authorities on the subject of luxury shared vacation ownership and the concept of reciprocal use programs for this niche segment.
Before joining RCI, Anderson's career included positions as vice president of acquisitions for Intrawest; senior vice president of sales and marketing for ClubCorp; and 14 years in brand management for The Walt Disney Company in the United States and Japan.
Anderson is an ARDA Trustee. He holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Florida State University in the United States and attended graduate school in Florence, Italy. He lives with his wife and two sons in Florida. In his spare time he is actively involved as an executive with The Boy Scouts of America.
Vice President, Business Development, Europe, Middle East & Africa
Dimitris Manikis is a Shared Ownership industry veteran, having 25 years’ experience in the business.
Manikis joined RCI straight from University. After his initial training in RCI’s UK office, he went on to spend two-and-a-half years in the Middle East, two years in Turkey and a year in India. During his tenure with RCI, Manikis has held many positions throughout the EMEA region including Managing Director for RCI’s South Eastern region and also Managing Director of RCI Africa. Today Manikis oversees an extensive Business Development team spanning three business regions and spends most of his time in the air and on the road, visiting RCI clients and his team in local markets.
A Greek national, Manikis was born in Athens and holds a Bachelor degree in Tourism and Administration from the University of Patras in Greece, and an MSc Postgraduate degree in Tourism Marketing from the University of Surrey. His passion for people and work ethic comes from his 84-year-old father, whom he cites as his role model and inspiration. His father built up a grocery retail business in Athens where, helping out as a boy, Manikis says he learned the value of high customer service levels, a positive outlook and hard work as being the foundations of success in both business and life.
When he’s not travelling, he heads home to Athens to spend time with his wife and two teenage daughters and enjoys spending time at his own timeshare on the Greek island of Paros.
Business Development, GCC Countries
George Rahal joined RCI as a Business Development Manager for the Middle East in 2013.
George's career began at Syriatel Telecommunication Company, from where he moved into a senior sales role with Marriott Vacation Club International. Most recently he has been working for Orbit Showtime Network where his focus was on the development of B2B sales strategy, new business development and market research.
Based in Dubai, George is responsible for leading new business development within the region. He also manages RCI's key accounts within the Gulf Cooperation Council, which comprises of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait.
When he's not travelling, George is a keen racer and enjoys watching Formula 1 as well as having a passion for music.
Business Development, Sub-Saharan Africa
Ravani Naicker has worked for RCI for the past 11 years and is Head of The Registry Collection and Business Development in Sub-Saharan Africa. She has held numerous roles within the company, from Customer Services to Affiliate Services Manager, resulting in her knowledge of the industry and product spanning multiple areas of the business.
Based in Durban, South Africa, Ravani is responsible for working with the Key Accounts and growing the RCI and Registry Collection brand within Sub-Saharan Africa. Focusing on providing a world-class service to our existing Affiliates, she also promotes the benefit of adding a luxury exchange programme to developers and prospective affiliates to their sales efforts.
Ravani has a degree in Public Relations and Marketing Management from the Durban University of Technology. When she's not working, Ravani enjoys spending time with her husband and two children as well as reading, cooking and travelling.
